Let's be honest.
Cookie dough ice cream should look as close to ⬆️ this ⬆️ as possible.
We all know the difference between the good stuff and the GrEaT stuff comes down to one thing: big, glorious chunks of dough. With that in mind, we decided to put four popular pints to the test to see which one gives you the most dough for your dough. Here's what we found out:

First, we picked our players:

Then we put each of them through the same four-step test.

Step #1: Scoop the ice cream into a bowl.

Step #2: Melt the ice cream.
Step #3: Run the melted ice cream through a strainer to separate the dough chunks.

Step #4: Use a kitchen scale to weigh the amount of dough that you're left with.

Ben & Jerry's: 3 ⅜ ounces of dough

Häagen-Dazs: 2 ounces of dough

Three Twins: 1 ¼ ounces of dough

SO Delicious: 1 ¼ ounces of dough

After all was said and done, we ranked our pints accordingly:

We also crunched the numbers to find out exactly what percent of the pint is dough.
