The exact price depends on the size and color, but they're all in the 40-45% off range!

It's available in women's sizes XXS–5X and 13 colors and styles. PLUS coats are available in kid's sizes *and* a menswear version and both of THOSE are on sale too!

I wear this coat literally all winter, and this deal is BEYOND worth it. Now let me tell you why it's so great:

I bought it *three* Prime Days ago (at a higher price than this tbh), and I'm not kidding when I say it's the best thing I've ever bought on a Prime Day, and I do ~this~ (...shopping) for a living.

This coat HAS IT ALL! It's puffy and super-insulated but not *giant* and covers the butt. The VERY generously sized hood has a sherpa lining for extra toastiness. I very rarely, if ever, find jackets with hoods that actually go all the way over my large head (and hair) to shelter my face from the elements, so that's a HUGE PLUS for me.

While it doesn't get *that* that cold in New York City (teens and 20s is about how cold it gets, barring a polar vortex — which isn't bad to someone who lived in Minnesota for five years) — we New Yorkers spend a LOT of time outside in the winter. When you walk to the train, wait on the freezing platform, walk to the grocery store etc. it's more time than usual out in the cold — and let me tell you the wind through the buildings and chill off the concrete can be BRUTAL. I love to walk about four miles home from work when I have the time — even in the winter — and I know this will keep me cozy every step of the way.

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways:

    1. It's WARM, thanks to a wind-resistant exterior, extra-thick down, water-resistant fabric, and SHERPA-LINED HOOD. It is quite literally the warmest coat I've ever worn.

    2. It's chicly oversized for a "sleeping bag, but make it fashion kind of look" — let me tell you, you can see this coat on Fashionable People *everywhere* in New York City.

Sometimes I play a game where I count how many Amazon Coats I see in a single commute.

And the grosgrain ribbon-accented zippers on the sides add a little extra...well...~zip~.

    3. It has *six* generously-sized pockets, so you don't even need to bring a purse when running errands.

Pockets for keys, wallet, phone, and pockets for snacks! And of course, for tucking away your freezing hands.

    4. It's lightweight for travel (seriously, tons of reviewers have brought it on cold weather trips), but long enough to cover your butt, which is so key in the winter.

Especially key when you're wearing thin leggings on the bottom all winter — the wind goes right through 'em!

    6. It was also one of Oprah's Favorite Things in 2019, just saying!

Let's hear from a couple quick promising reviews too (it has over 13,000 5-star reviews btw):

"Let me start by saying, my husband says that I am obsessed with coats!! I saw this on a lightning deal during the holiday season and thought it was so unique I had to have it!! Out of probably 20 winter coats, this is now my absolute favorite!! I can't even begin to tell you how much I love this coat, love everything about it! The quality is outstanding! I have had every expensive brand name winter coat, but have never ever had one that has kept me this warm! I I'm not even looking forward to the warmer months because I don't want to put this coat away!! Waiting for another deal, so that I can order it in a couple more colors!! Every time I wear it, I get at least one, 'I love your coat!!' Oh and I should mention, the customer service department was outstanding. I had a question in December, during the holiday season, and they responded within 15 minutes of my email and had everything resolved!! How does that happen during the busiest season of the year?" —Suzi Linthorst

"Absolutely ADORE this jacket!! It's light enough in weight that it doesn't feel like you're wearing a sleeping bag, yet it keeps you SO warm. It fits well in all the right places, and the numerous pockets, ties, zippers, and hood make for versatility in varying temperatures. And I receive compliments nearly every time I wear it — its unique design looks really sharp; my hubby even says it's kinda sexy if a down jacket can be such a thing. We live in a ski resort community: a lot of snow, and occasional sub-zero winter temps. This is definitely my go-to coat for cold weather and I love it so much, I purchased both the green and the navy. I'm now ordering the longer Orolay down coat in black for a dressier look." —Miss M

"Love the coat. After visits to several stores, i decided on this coat for a trip to NYC during what the forecasters were calling the coldest week in history. It kept me warm and comfortable during miles of walking and not too hot when i kept it on walking through museums. As a plus, I scoped all the Manhattan women wearing parkas (very many) and, with the exception of maybe one, my coat was the nicest one and looked the best-- it fit perfectly, wasn't too tight or too loose. Oversized, but not tent-like. It was not bulky, even over a thick sweater. Love the jacket and will wear it when i visit Prague in February, which should also be cold, but not with my fantastic coat." —Just K

So what are you waiting for? Get it from Amazon for $88.49 (originally $159.99+; available in sizes women's XXS–5X and 13 colors, with and without faux fur trim around the hood).
