22 Nice-Ish Pieces Of Jewelry You'll Wear Every Day

Mid-priced picks (including gold plate, fill, and vermeil) that'll stand the test of time, all in classic styles you'll get a heck of a lot of wear out of.

We hope you love the products we recommend! All of them were independently selected by our editors. Just so you know, BuzzFeed may collect a share of sales or other compensation from the links on this page if you decide to shop from them. Oh, and FYI — prices are accurate and items in stock as of time of publication.

Before we begin, I just want to give a quick rundown of the difference between gold-plated, gold-filled, and gold vermeil:

Gold plating: When a base metal (like brass) gets dipped in a gold solution and covered by a thin layer of gold

Gold vermeil: A type of gold plating, where the base metal is sterling silver, and the plating is a bit thicker

Gold fill: With the thickest gold layer of the three, when a piece is gold filled that means the piece has gold mechanically bonded, and it has to have 5% gold by weight

And of course unlike solid gold, the layers will wear off over time depending on their thickness.

Anyway, now that's over with — on to the jewelry!

Has a lobster claw. Doesn't tangle. I can wear it alone as it's pretty enough. It arrived in a timely manner. What have you got to lose? It would make a perfect gift. My only disappointment is that it didn't come in a box for gifting." —Satisfied Customer

My pictures can’t do it justice and I couldn’t be happier. The pearl is obviously real, with a topography of its own and a soft shine. The band is as beautiful as the stone and the hammered texture adds to the marine beauty of the pearl. It sits higher off my finger than I had thought it would, but I really don’t mind with how beautiful it is. The distance isn’t enough to be inconveniencing anyway." —Jules R.
