Hi, yes, I know I should wear lip balm way more often than I do. My poor lips are constantly dried out from long-wearing liquid lipsticks and harsh winter elements. But guess what? I hate the texture of lip balms. Most of them are just so thick and goopy that I want to wipe them off immediately. They're unsettling and uncomfortable. But Glossier, in line with 95% of their products, doesn't disappoint with their Balm Dot Com.

It's just the right amount of thickness where I'm like, "Oh, this is definitely doing something" without feeling like there's a heavy layer of ~foreign stuff~ on my lips. Does that make sense? And there's enough ~grip~ so you don't need a lot of it to coat your lips. Plus, it smells DIVINE. Not like sickeningly sweet, but like Birthday makes me think, "Yum, I would actually lick and eat this." Birthday doesn't have any tint to it but adds the slightest sparkle, and I'm obsessed. Rose (which comes out of the tube light pink) does have a very subtle pinky tint if you want a lil' something along with your hydration. I usually apply at night but I'd willingly wear this balm by itself during the day if my lips were in really bad shape, which is major coming from someone who feels naked without lipstick. 2. Milky Jelly Cleanser gently removes makeup and grime for totally clean skin that never feels harshly scrubbed (it's made with the same cleansing agents that are in contact solution)!

The Milky Jelly Cleanser is my holy grail face wash. I have dry and quite sensitive skin, so finding a cleanser that actually gets rid of makeup, yet isn’t super harsh, is a challenge. Milky Jelly (almost) nails it when it comes to a cleanser: it’s gentle, very mildly scented, and easy-to-use. Afterwards my skin feels noticeably softer. The texture is unlike most other cleansers on the market: it had a soft, thick glue-type texture and it doesn’t foam at all. It feels good and comfortable on my skin, and the bottle pump ensures that too much of the product doesn't come out at once.

My only complaint is that it’s drying; for example, I just tested the cleanser on a small patch of my cheek and that part of my skin now feels noticeably taught. What I love about it though, is that you can be pretty flexible in how you use it: you can use it to solely remove all your makeup or use it as part of a double-cleanse, and use it on wet or dry skin. Most days I want an in-your-face, opaque, matte lipstick. From my senior year of high school when I started wearing red lipstick on the regular, through college when I'd meet people in classes and they'd say "Oh, I've seen you around, you're the girl who wears lipstick all the time" to now, where the greatest joy of my job is sometimes trying out new ones, I love 'em. BUT they do not always love me (chapped lips = the worst). And sometimes my hair is dirty, my lips are dry, and I just can't be bothered to put in the effort of a precise lipstick application.

These are the exact occasions on which Generation G is my favorite trick to whip out. It provides buildable, sheer-but-matte color so you can start out with one swipe for a flush of natural tint or add more for a blotted lipstick look that lasts all dang day. It feels so lightweight, you'll forget you're wearing lipstick — but it still locks your natural moisture in so your pout can recover from all that liquid lipstick you wear on other days. The color I'm wearing here, Jam, is a pretty berry shade, but it comes in six so you can find the perfect natural-looking, your-lips-but-better look. 4. Wonder powder Wowder powder that has you COVERED — it cuts down on shine, blurs the appearance of pores, and sets your makeup for all-day wear (and it NEVER cakes).

My skin has never taken well to mattifying agents. Over the countless times I’ve tried powder, primer, etc. to handle the oil, my skin basically says “thanks, but no thanks.” The powder mixes with the oil into weird, cakey clumps that stick to peach fuzz (à la the Friends episode in which Ross can’t get his leather pants back on, shouting on the phone to Joey, “the lotion and the powder are forming a PASTE!”). If you’re thinking “Damn, that sounds gross and I’m shocked this girl is disclosing such private information,” I know. It’s gross enough for me to surrender to oil for the past 15 years, accepting that my face will look like I’m the oil spill those poor baby birds were stuck in before Dawn dish soap saved them.

Fast forward to a few weeks ago, when the Glossier team sent me their new Wowder product to try. I was skeptical (see above) but in general, new Glossier products become staples in my makeup routine, so I was willing to give it a shot. The first thing I noticed was the packaging. Unlike the powder packaging that’s been around since the first BareMinerals infomercial (swirl, tap, tap) there’s a lip on the jar so you won’t lose powder, and there’s a mesh screen between you and the product so that your brush doesn’t get overloaded. Truly genius. The second thing I noticed was audibly saying “WOW!” when I swiped it on. No grease, no residue, no…nothing? It was like someone took a little face-sized dust buster and took away my oil but left behind smooth, matte skin that didn’t look like it belonged in Downton Abbey.

Some logistical information: Wowder comes in three shades: Light/Medium, Dark/Deep, and Rich. A few friends around the office have tried all of the different tones and so far, everyone’s found a shade they’ve been happy with. I’d recommend using the brush that’s made for Wowder because 1. You’ll get the smoothest application and 2. It feels like petting a bunny, which is a really lovely way to start your morning.

TLDR; Wowder lives up to its name, has a shade that will suit basically everyone, and is legit the only powder I’ve ever tried that I’ve not only used more than once, but that I’ve used every day. I even bought an extra to keep at my desk for emergency situations. —Augusta Falletta

5. Boy Brow makes thickening, filling in, and grooming your brows easier than ever — the tinted gel formula and mascara-like wand do it all with just one swipe!

The precision that is required to literally draw in an eyebrow is a feat of Da Vinci proportions — and no, I’m not being overdramatic. I have tried to use pencil brow liners and it looked like a three-year-old went crayola-crazy on my face. But dilemma time: when I put on my foundation, I feel like my eyebrows blend into my skin. So what should a girl who cannot color inside the lines of her brows do?

Here’s what I needed: an eyebrow filler that would very lightly enhance my eyebrows (I prefer a natural-looking makeup routine), act like gel for all the unruly hairs that live above my eyes, and have a brusher application that would make the ordeal an easy one. No pencils.

Step in Boy Brow, a cult-favorite that is loved by everyone and their Insta-famous mothers. But believe the hype: this magic bottle is proof that not all heroes wear capes. The creamy formula, which comes in blond, black, clear, and brown (which is what I used!), goes on smoothly and doesn’t require a lot of product to do the job. I used the wand to brush baby hairs in the beginning/middle of my brow upwards, and then brushed the longer, toddler-like hairs at the end of my eyebrows, sideways. And one coat was more than enough! Boy Brow does what exactly what the Glossier brand claims to do; it gives me a filled-in eyebrow that doesn’t look filled in. 6. Invisible Shield is a watergel SPF product for anyone who doesn't want to slather on sunscreen (it never turns greasy!).

As a skincare obsessee, I know that a good protection is a protected one. I've always been pretty diligent when it comes to wearing sunscreen to the beach or on vacation, but for year-round, everyday use, adding a lightweight and buildable sunscreen to my daily skincare regiment felt daunting. So when Glossier released their highly-touted Invisible Shield (a daily sunscreen with SPF 35) last summer, I knew I had to give it a try. That purchase was genuinely on of the most fantastic beauty buys I've ever made.

Invisible shield is so amazing because it essentially functions as both a sunscreen and a primer. It's light, translucent, and smells fresh and slightly fruity, but not in a manner that's overpowering whatsoever. Because it's so light and hydrating, it works rather perfectly under makeup and other post-sunscreen skincare. Though $25 for one fluid ounce of sunscreen may seem pricey, it's decidedly worth it; smoothing on sunscreen every day has never been simpler. —Kyle Davis

I'm obsessed with Haloscope! It’s a highlighter stick that gives you a little extra shimmer when you need it most. Because I have combination skin and it usually tends to be more oily, I only wear this on dry days or in the winter. It’s a great last step in my skincare routine and it rarely looks greasy! I highly suggest this little guy to anyone who wants to add subtle highlight to their face without looking like a disco ball (but if that’s your thing, go off, legend)!

Omg where do I begin? Putting on Glossier is like putting on rose-colored glasses. I have loved pretty much everything I’ve tried so far. I use the Milky Jelly Cleanser everyday, and I am always wearing ~at least~ Boy Brow. My newest favorite is Cloud Paint! I have the shade Puff right now and LOVE it. Unlike my powder blushes, I’ve found it lasts much longer (it’s still there when i get home from work!) and gives me a nice friendly glow. And! when you order something you get a little pink bubble clutch and *freaking stickers.* I love stickers! The designer in me freaks out over the packaging… it’s so beautiful. My skin gets pretty damn dry in the winter, meaning I need to put on a crap ton of moisturizer on my face...both morning and night. But here’s the problem, my friends: Most heavier creams make my skin initially oily, and putting ‘em on in the morning means looking like a greaseball all day. But have no fear, because Glossier’s Priming Moisturizer Rich is here! (Well, it has been for quite a while, but I’m just trying it now.)

First thought: The smell is very pleasant, almost like a subtle lavender. Second thought: It absorbs into my skin SUPER quickly. Within minutes, my skin feels super moisturized, but there’s no greasy film enjoying itself on my T-zone. AND! It calms down the redness around my nose and cheeks and leaves a smooth, dewy canvas that lets makeup glide on and blend in with ease. Plus, I’ve noticed that my concealer stays on significantly longer when I use this, which, to be honest, is nothing short of a Christmas miracle because my makeup NEVER lasts.

And while the container itself looks really small, I’ve been using this moisturizer since early October and am only just seeing the bottom of it now. I definitely recommend this for people who have sensitive, dry-to-normal skin! —AnaMaria Glavan
