    1. A motion-sensing spray pet deterrent that emits a burst of air to keep pets out of garbage cans, offices, and other places they shouldn't be.

Reviewer's picture of the spray waiting outside their bathroom

Promising review:"This has effectively stopped the 3 a.m. door-kicking/handle-rattling from two boys who demand to be fed at that time. I did use some Command hooks and rubber bands to keep them in place as the blast is enough to knock them over." —Nathan Z.

Get it from Amazon for $34.95.

    2. A PetSafe wireless fence with adjustable radius to help your pet learn to stay safely within the boundaries of your property while still having free range to play and explore outdoors.

Promising review: "I'm not one to write a review, but this product is THAT good. We live in the country and don't want to put up a fence. We have a miniature Schnauzer and for the last nine months we have had to walk her on a leash...rain or shine. When we have tried to walk her without a leash, she bolts immediately. Having to chase her across our somewhat busy road to finally retrieve her at a neighbors house down the road got old. I really thought this product wouldn't work. I thought my dog wouldn't be stopped. Oh my goodness was I wrong. We followed the directions exactly for the first two days but I realized she quickly would hear the beep and stop and turn around. On the third day, I turned it on the lowest setting and she went out of the safe zone twice and she quickly realized that she want trying it again. Now I can finally let her outside to potty by herself without issue! Today we were outside all day and she got to be out there running and playing with our children, not on a leash or in a pen. This is the BEST purchase I've made in a year. It is AMAZING!!!!" —Hannah Long

Get it from Amazon for $249.95.

    3. A pheromone diffuser that plugs into the wall to help facilitate easy introductions and calm nervous cats.

Reviewer's picture of their cats looking relaxed

Promising review:"Okay! My cats are both males, they love each other, don't fight but yes, they get excited because they still have their b***s. The black one still a baby but the other one is almost 3 years and is spraying EVERYTHING!!!!!!! I mean he was, until I got this miracle bottle. He peed on my sofa four times, new sofa! He peed on my comforter and bed also my two girls beds with plushies. Yes we felt like killing him, even that he is the most adorable thing in this house. Oh, new beds and blankets also! After getting this and plugin it in the wall, everything changed. The black one used to be grumpy, won't let you pick him up, just pet him. Now he let you pick him up, he didn't used to purr, now he purr. The yellow one was always adorable, just the hormones problem. After this product, I can't believe it, the change in my cats' behavior. Is beautiful and when I tell you I do not mind spending $80–$100 a month as long as my house doesn't smell like cat pee." —Vasquez Burgos

Get it from Amazon for $25.07.

    4. An air-based spray to safely dissuade behaviors like barking and chewing in your dog with a harmless burst of air.

Reviewer's picture of their dog with the air spray

Promising review: "We have three miniature poodles and the two older ones bark incessantly for the most stupid my husband sighing or our daughter walking into the room....the list goes on! It’s ridiculous and very stressful in our, otherwise, peaceful home. I’ve tried bark collars, spray collars, whistles, and spray bottles and none of these came NEAR working as well as Pet Corrector! I’m amazed I only had to spray twice yesterday evening and it put them in their place! It was SO nice and quiet here last night! Now, I think all I have to do is pick up the can! Just look at Willy’s face! LOL!" —C. Whelan

Get it from Amazon for $41.49 for a pack of four.

    5. A slow feeder bowl that'll help your dog pace himself during mealtimes and provide built-in mental stimulation by making him work harder for his kibbles.

A yellow lab stands eating out of the slow feeder

Promising review: "I recently adopted a rescue beagle after my old boy passed earlier this year, so it's been a while since I've had a younger dog in the house. Like all beagles, he's a chow hound and he wolfs down his food in about five seconds. I had a food puzzle bowl, but it was the kind with protrusions and I could hear his teeth impacting the plastic and that can't be good. Doing due diligence, I settled on the large of the orange one.

It's perfect! The non-skid bottom keeps it in place on the wooden floor and the smooth channels mean no teeth impacts. It's large enough to stay steady and make sure the food is at the bottom of the channels. Eating time has extended from seven seconds to between three and five minutes. That's huge. He also seems far more satisfied when it takes him longer to eat, which is wonderful.

Highly recommend this one for gobbling dogs. :) " —A Christy

Get it from Amazon from $14.69 (available in six colors and four sizes).

    6. A brightly lined pouch to store treats, doggie bags, and more during leash training and walkies.

Reviewer's picture of the treat waist pouch

Promising review: "I bought this dog treat bag to replace the lost one I had prior to. While I had high standards from the last treat bag this delivers a few extras my first one did not. Smaller design as to not feel so bulky on the hip is a top one I enjoy. I also love that it can slip into my handsfree lead and I don't have to worry about it un-clipping and falling off. Hence why I think I lost my first one. The only thing I would change about this treat bag is the drawstring should be on both sides as to make an even circle. Otherwise I love the small storage pockets throughout. One has an opening for your dog waste bags and the other I can easily slid my cellphone into." —Crystal Stoltz

Get it from Amazon for $16.95.

    7. A gentle lead collar which helps overactive and aggressive dogs remain calm and submissive during walks and play.

Reviewer's picture of their german shepherd with the muzzle leash

Promising review: "I love this head halter. My service dog is still young, and I admit the first store we ever went to.... We knocked over a calendar rack at the entrance cuz she swiveled her head around and just....Yeah.

We started out with almost a muzzle/head halter hybrid, and once that bit the dust I ordered this one. My dog likes this head halter, and will give me her snoot when it's time to put it on. I love how it's designed, very soft and the straps were sewn together with how this item should sit on their snoot in mind." —Jodie

Get it from Amazon for $19.99 (available in two colors).

    8. An adjustable harness in a color to suit every pup, because comfort and control on walks with your furry friend are a must.

Reviewer's picture of their puppy in the harness leash

Promising review: "I was initially worried about this harness being too big for my adventure cat, as it turns out this is the best harness I have ever purchased for my cat! Positives: 1. It does not have to slide over his head (which he doesn't like) 2. He doesn't mind this harness going on at all 3. We have camped, hiked and adventured in this harness and it fits him comfortably, but has room for him to grow 4. I don't have to worry about him slipping out of the harness (huge relief!) 5. The lime green color is super fun. Currently I don't have any down sides to this harness, glad I did measure him before I ordered it! I love the adjustability of the harness! My Sinbad is one happy hiking adventure cat with this harness!!!" —Kat

Get it from Amazon for $19.20 (available in 11 colors and four sizes).

    9. A pack of super-absorbent charcoal-infused, pee pads that soak up and neutralize piddles quickly!

Reviewer's picture of the training pads with five-star caption "no more odor or yellow stains"

Promising review: "If you’re on the fence about buying these, please don’t be ! I almost didn’t buy these because they seemed too good to be true and over priced and boy was I wrong! I have four dogs. Two are unaltered 70-lb-plus males. Long gone are the days where you pick up a dripping pee pads or the smell never really goes away. You can even lay these face down on liquid and it will soak it all up and turn it to gel in about 30 seconds. During a rain storm we found out We had a leak in our RV and used these for that too! They are completely worth the money and I will be buying this brand only from now on!" —Annabeth Hartford

Get it from Amazon for $17 for 100 pads.

    10. The Art of Raising a Puppy, a classic puppy training book written by puppy-raising monks, because sometimes training a new puppy requires monk-like patience.

    The book

Promising review: "This is a great informative book. It’s been quite some time since I’ve raised a puppy. This book has reminded me of all that goes into rearing a dog up from puppyhood. It gives a lot of great information and insight into why puppies behave the way they do. This is a great book for the novice and expert. It has a lot of information about training and socializing puppies from the moment you get them. It also puts a lot of emphasis on your relationship with the dog and why it’s so important to have a great bond with your dog. I would recommend this book for anyone who is looking to adopt a puppy. It’s a great refresher course for any dog owner, whether they’ve raised puppies before or they are complete novices." —Fiona

Get it from Amazon from $14.99.

    11. A Furbo treat dispenser that syncs with your Alexa device to let you virtually check in on your pets and reward them from afar.

Reviewer's picture of the dog looking into the camera

Promising review: "I love being able to watch my pug literally just sleeping for seven hours a day and my coworkers really enjoy the constant updates of me telling them where my pug is sleeping and forcing them to watch his small, fawn body laying in the same spot. I have learned that my cat must leave the house when I go to work because I never catch her on the camera. Maybe she has a job? It would be nice if she paid some rent. The treat shooting mechanism shoots small treats, which is fine for him, well maybe not for him because he'd prefer it shot pizza slices, but they're the proper size treats for a smaller dog. A larger dog would need the treats launched at them more often. The launching mechanism does make a motorized sound that might scare some dogs, though mine doesn't hear it at all and also doesn't notice when the treats fly in his direction, he finds them later as if they appeared. Just remember to turn the camera off through the app when you get home because nothing is worse than accidentally opening the app and seeing yourself blobbing on the sofa." —Bowiezinspace

Get it from Amazon for $167.

    12. A blessedly non-ugly set of plastic scratch guards to keep the cats off the dang couch.

Reviewer's picture of the plastic guard on their couch's arm

Promising review: "UPDATE: Three week’s later, the cat has not scratched at all on my faux leather couches or recliner. If I had bought these sooner, I could have saved a $1200 leather living room set. These absolutely work.

I filled the cat claw holes on my faux leather couches and recliner with a vinyl repair kit, and when the product dried, I applied the scratch guards. They were easy enough to apply with the corkscrew pins, and the cat hasn’t gone near the furniture edges in hours. So far, so good." —Amazon6015

Get it from Amazon from $15.99 for a pack of four.

    13. A cat harness, because why should dogs get to have all the fun outside?

Reviewer's picture of their cat in the harness with five-star caption "great option for first-time cat walker"

Promising review: "We purchased this for our indoor cat who used to spend afternoons outdoors. We decided after some coyotes were sighted in the neighborhood that he would be indoors only. He missed the outdoors so much that we figured a harness and leash for walks could quell his outdoor cravings (when I say cravings I actually mean full blown crazed madness to the point of darting for the door and smacking right into the steel security door). This harness did just the trick. I will say first measure because if you get it too big the cat or dog can and will slip out by backing out of the harness. Second allow your pet to cruise around the house in just the harness. After they realize they can walk in it around the house then clip the leash and allow more cruising around indoors. Once they are comfortable outdoors you go. We now have two harnesses one for each cat and yes it took some time getting used to this. Our cats in the long run enjoy the time walking and we feel safer with this option of walking them." —Medusasc

Get it from Amazon from $10.88 (available in 10 colors and four sizes).

    14. A cat tower that offers multiple hideouts, hammocks, and scratching posts for play and exploration — away from all your breakable belongings.

Promising review: "Incredibly happy with our purchase! Fast shipping + easy assembly! Our cat Bones approves, the pictures prove it!" —Stewiesanson

    15. An adorable cat grass planter which helps your cat get his greens and spare your houseplants.

Reviewer's picture of their cat eating the grass

Promising review: "My kitty loves grass. She loves to eat it, rip at it, and, occasionaly, pounce on a strand that's left behind on the floor. This product is SO great. First, it costs less than what I was paying for the grown grass at the pet store. It takes maybe 15 minutes to prepare the soil and plant the seeds. It's super easy and foolproof. No green thumb required! Second, and MORE IMPORTANT, it's FRESHER than what you can buy. I was weary of not being able to buy grass at the store because it was all dead or settling for the least dead version. My kitty now gets her grass at its freshest and tastiest. She loves it. I originally bought the three pack of planters. It was such a success that I then bought this adorable cat mug and the set of refills. My cat is even happier with the mug because the mug is heavy so she can rip at it and eat it more easily. The other planters are fine, but they will tip. With the mug, she can just go for it! This is a super product. My kitty and I both give it two thumbs up ..... oh wait, she doesn't have thumbs ... we both give it a super enthusiastic endorsement!" —Kathy K

Get it from Amazon for $19.95.

    16. An interactive cat puzzle that will keep your cat busy for hours while looking for treats in its mazes, nooks, and crannies.

Reviewer's picture of their two cats playing with the puzzle

Promising review: "I was skeptical.. however my pictures speak for themselves. My lazy, overweight, senior kitty is pictured with her paws in the box! Do they enjoy trying to solve the puzzle? I'm not sure, but either way it certainly keeps them occupied for a while." —Waffles

Get it from Amazon for $15.95.

    17. Total Cat Mojo: The Ultimate Guide to Life with Your Cat, an ultimate guidebook to help you understand your cat's behavior and create a happy home together.

Promising review: "Wow. Just wow. A game-changer of a book. As someone who’s always had an affinity for cats, has volunteered in shelters and lived with one amazing rescued feline after another I never paid much attention to 'how to understand your cat' books because I didn’t think I needed them. I just paid attention to the cat/s at hand. But Jackson Galaxy eloquently explains an overall compassionate relationship between cats and humans that is the basis for everything else we have to learn/do regarding our feline companions. This isn’t simply a book about how to 'solve' your cat’s peeing problem. It’s about the fundamental nature of cats and how humans can embrace that nature for our mutual benefit." —Michele Koenig Augeri

Get it from Amazon from $12.99.

    18. And! A mini voice recorder to train parrots and other mimicking birds to imitate your voice!

    The voice recorder

Promising review: "My parrot (Jade) loves this mimic box. He comes out on the ledge to find my voice as it plays. When I'm not home he's talking to the box as if he's talking to me. My parrot is only 2.5 years old. The vet told me it takes up to three years before Green Cheek Conure starts to really talk. My parrot has been saying words for a year now, but I'm hoping the mimic box will teach him to be more clearer. My dog runs into the room where the mimic box is, looking for me as well. The only thing bad, it does not have a volume button. So you either have to record close to the mic or farther away depending on how loud you want it to play." —Shine Jackson

Get it from Amazon for $19.95.
