People On Instagram Are Making "Slime" And Sticking Their Hands In It

    So here's a thing I never thought I'd say...

    People on Instagram who sometimes call themselves "slimers" are making "slime" and then posting videos of themselves touching it.

    There are a few different types of slime videos. One type features people putting their fingers directly into a bowl or jar to make a popping noise.

    Another type features people sticking something that makes noise inside the slime to make a crunch.

    Some people even pull slime.

    And some people just post videos of how it's made.

    The trend, which seems to have been successful with the ASMR community, has gotten so big that the #slime hashtag has been used on more than 500,000 photos and videos.

    People are even selling slime on Instagram, using hashtags like #slimeshop.
