Let's be real, meeting famous people is fun, because even though technically they are ~just like us~, they're not really — they are famous.

So I want to hear about a time when you met/had an experience with a celebrity that far EXCEEDED your expectations.

And while sometimes meeting a celebrity can feel like a let down — other times the exact opposite happens.

For example, many years ago I met Zac Efron. I was totally obsessed with him, so this was a big deal for me. He's obviously a huge star, so it's easy for him to not pay attention to the people around him, but it turned out that he was incredibly nice and personable. By some crazy chance (and because work was involved), I ended up seeing him another time at some event. We said hello to each other, and he remembered my name, and made an effort to ask me how I was, etc. It was shocking to me that he'd remember who I was. He was grounded, down to earth, and I left our encounters wanting to be a genuine friend of his/go on a hike with him. Basically, he exceeded my expectations completely, and I'll always consider him one of the kindest celebrities I've ever met.
