I've Only Seen Three Episodes Of "Maniac" But Wow I'm Obsessed With Sonoya Mizuno

    THAT BOB.

Hello. I just started watching Maniac on Netflix. It's the show with Emma Stone and Jonah Hill about the human mind and stuff. And it's good, you should watch it! (#NOTANAD.) But the true gem of the show is Sonoya Mizuno who plays Dr. Azumi Fujita.

    This woman:

    Netflix

She's like a nerdier, more emo, science-y Mia Wallace (from Pulp Fiction).

    Netflix

    AND I'M OBSESSED WITH HER.

    Netflix

First of all, you might recognize Sonoya because most recently she played Araminta in Crazy Rich Asians.

    Netflix

But also she was the creepy robot lady in Ex Machina!!!

    Netflix

The one who danced with Oscar Isaac.

    Netflix

But back to her in Maniac because it's the reason we are all here.

    Netflix

She plays a bonafide chainsmoking hottie who seems to have very little emotion and I am into it.

    Netflix

TBH I think smoking is gross, but for some reason when she lights that cig, my heart a-flutters!

    Netflix

The show takes place in some alternate weird version of our world so she can't even be classified as "hipster" or "alt" cause I don't think that exists there!! Instead she's just totally unique!!!

    Netflix

    And her outerwear is fabulous.

    Netflix

    Also...the glasses. THE GLASSES!!!!!

    Netflix

And the glasses with that hair!

    Netflix

    Be still my fricken' heart!

    Netflix

Anyway, like I said, I've only seen like three episodes of the show so far so my knowledge on her character is limited. She could turn out to be the really bad guy for all I know!!!

    Netflix

    But, I don't even care!!

    Netflix

    I'm obsessed with her!!

    Netflix

Anytime she's in a scene I want to nominate her for an Emmy and then vote for her to win it and then present it to her myself.

    Netflix

Perhaps it's the lab coat. Or the turtlenecks.

    Netflix

WHATEVER IT IS I LOVE IT.
