Gigi Hadid and Harry Styles both attended the American Music Awards last night.
That's all fine and dandy. Right? I don't know, me thinks maybe not! Because at one point on the red carpet Giuliana Rancic brought Gigi up to say hello to the guys of One Direction on live TV and ~it~ happened. You know, The incident.
First Gigi stepped up to the stage. And did the robot kind of.
And then she and Harry traded a very weird handshake.
Kind of like a "thank you so much for dedicating your time to handing out fliers for my campaign" type of handshake.
But even more awk than the handshake was the alleged eye roll that Harry gave to Gigi while she went in to hug Niall.

Sure, the whites of his eyes might be more visible than usual. But what's the motive here???
Maybe it was because Gigi's best friends have both been rumored to date Harry (hi Kendall Jenner and Taylor Swift) and it's GIRL CODE to awkwardly shake hands with your friend's exes on live television.
OR MAYBE, just maybe, there is no beef and the "eye roll" was just like, an itch, and as this gif of footage taken .6 seconds after ~the incident~ shows, they seem to be totally cool with each other.
