So, you've got an unmade bed that needs to be made AND a dog that's sitting on that bed who won't get up because it's actually their bed and you are just a guest in it?
Well, have no fear. The following 13 steps will teach you how to make a bed when there is a dog on it. It's simple, really. Let's go!
Step 1: Assess the dog and bed situation. The dog most likely will be in the middle of the bed. Begin the process by petting the dog while simultaneously grabbing on to whatever blanket you can grip.
Step 2: Start gently tugging on the comforter and sheets below the dog. Warning: the dog might not move. That's okay, work around them.
Step 3: If the dog moves and finds themself under the comforter that you were just moving, take a picture. It's cute.
Step 3.5: Perhaps find a partner or assistant to help you take more cute pictures of the dog with the comforter over their body.
Step 4: Return to actively making the bed. Try to displace the dog to get the bottom left corner of the bed sorted.
Step 5: While the dog is still displaced in upper left corner, quickly run to bottom right corner to continue the process of making the bed.
Step 6: Ignore dog's attempt at foiling your progress.
Step 7: No matter what the dog does, do not give up. Their attempt to play with you unfortunately must be ignored at this time.
Step 8: Say to the dog, "look over there!!" and, "what's that!!" While the dog gets distracted and looks to what you're pointing at, use this moment to pull the upper right corner of the blanket into made-bed position.
Step 9: When your dog confronts you about lying to them regarding something ~being over there~, deny it.
Step 10: Quickly run around to the other side of the bed while your dog is still on the opposite side to begin proper folding by the pillows.
Step 11: Do not be intimidated by your dog's effort at undoing what you've just done. You must persevere.
Step 12: YOU DID IT!! YOU FINISHED!!! You look proudly upon your work. Get a glass of water to hydrate.
Step 13: Watch as your dog tries to unmake the bed right before your eyes. Film it because it's so cute and wow what a good dog.
