Sleeping Man Hurled 150 Feet Skywards In The Japanese TV Prank To End Japanese TV Pranks

This surely contravenes all manner of health and safety laws.

Imagine being this guy. There you are, fast asleep.

Last night you passed out drunk in a cabin at the foot of Mt. Fuji.

Unbeknown to you, there are a couple of sadistic maniacs in a nearby cabin who plan to wake you up in the most terrifying way imaginable.

The first thing you're aware of is a loud bang, and the blinding flash of fireworks.

Then you are catapulted 150 feet into the air.

Right through the roof of the cabin.

Your reaction would probably be... well, this, pretty much.

Meanwhile, everyone else's reaction would be more like this.

Well done, Japanese TV people. Once again you have proved you are the kings of the massively dangerous and ill-advised prank.

Watch the prank in full.

It comes from a TV show called Dokkiri Award ("Dikkiri" meaning "surprise"), and the poor victim is a comedian named Toshiaki Kasuga.
