The Official 2019 Bring Me Gift Guide

Because wrapping up a vacation is hard.

Happy holidays from the team at Bring Me! We're constantly boarding planes, battling jet lag, and living out of suitcases — and we've come across many a travel product in the process.

We've complied a list of these awesome products so you can easily find the perfect gift for all the travel-obsessed people in your life. (And who knows, maybe a little something for yourself.)

    1. An Olympia rolling duffel bag perfect for the chronic overpacker. They can hypothetically shove 11 dresses, 19 tops, 18 sneakers, and their entire makeup bag in here — and will *still* have room to spare. Magic! It exists!

    2. A luggage scale they'll treasure forever and ever. Overweight baggage fees, which I know from personal experience/shame can cost upwards of $100, are *not* the fee they want to pay before embarking on an overseas adventure.

    3. A memory foam travel pillow that'll help them get some first-class sleep even if they're stuck back in economy (because #same).

    4. Or a wrap-around travel pillow for those friends who need a little bit of extra support. For supreme beauty sleep on long international flights, this machine washable hunk of fleece will keep their head from falling whilst they doze off and will prevent neck pain from ruining their next adventure.

    5. An essential oil roll-on stick packed with peppermint, spearmint, and lavender essential oils. If they feel a travel migraine coming on, all they've have to do is apply this to their temples, forehead, and the back of their neck for a blast of cool relief. Not only will this lessen that pesky headache, but it also smells divine.

    6. A memory foam foot rest because maybe they have foot rests in first class, but that’s a luxury not extended to economy. This little sling will allow them to truly ~kick their feet up~ and relax, promoting circulation and helping them feel less cramped in their tiny seat.

    7. A super lightweight duffle bag that folds up into a neat little square when not in use! Ideal for people who don't have space in their teeny tiny apartment to store luggage *or* for that friend who always comes home with more stuff than they left with (this will be the perfect thing to store in their carry-on).

    8. Splurge-worthy wireless Bose headphones with impressive noise-cancelling capability, so they'll never again be stuck listening to a snoring seat-mate or screaming baby on the plane.

    9. A SwissTech hard side luggage crafted with a sleek, chic, and durable design that is surprisingly affordable considering the top-notch quality.

    10. A durable, water-resistant duffle bag that's easy to pack and haul around from place to place. This is perfect for those trips that have a full-on itinerary and require frequent moving (and re-packing).

    11. A secure passport holder to help avoid any "Where the heck did I put my passport?!" meltdowns at the airport. This travel wallet makes it significantly easier for them to keep hold of their most important belongings and documents, a true necessity whilst boarding multiple connecting flights.

    12. A light-weight and durable waterproof jacket perfect for hiking, camping, and anything outdoorsy in less-than-ideal weather — you can thank the stowable hood, zippered hand pockets, chin guard, and adjustable cuffs (to prevent the cold from getting in) for that.

    13. A flight flap that is deceivingly strong despite the fact that it's as thin as a piece of paper. It will easily mold into the seat in front of them or can remain upright on the tray table, holding everything from their Kindle to their iPhone perfectly in place.

    14. Reusable acupressure bands many reviewers swear are an absolute lifesaver at preventing all travel-related nausea (from road trips to plane rides to seasickness).

    15. A Mophine portable charger equipped with three USB outlets for the friend that will be documenting every single second of their trip — and will need to be charging multiple devices at the same time. Camera? Check. iPhone? Check. Tablet? Check.

    16. Travel-friendly nügg face masks formulated with camellia seed oil, spirulina extract, and aloe juice for much-needed moisture. That means that their skin will be hydrated, dewy, clean-feeling, and awake — in spite of the fact that they had to leave their home at 3AM for the budget red-eye flight they booked.

    17. Packing cubes capable of helping them fit their entire 👏 friggin' 👏 wardrobe 👏 inside their carry-on.

    18. A TSA-approved transparent organizer so they won't have to dig around your suitcase for liquids (and then stuff them in a clear baggy) while going through airport security. Flying is nerve-wracking enough — give them the gift of not having to worry about their favorite moisturizer being confiscated.

    19. Tide travel packets for hand-washing their clothes in the sink when no washing unit is available, that way they'll be able to clean the only white tee they remembered to pack...because all the room that could have been dedicated to everyday basics was instead invested into packing nine pairs of shoes.

    20. A travel planner for the ~constantly traveling~ friend with a severe case of wanderlust and an Instagram account that is THE envy of your entire friend group. This little book is particularly awesome because it has designated pages for things to do, places to go, places to eat, budget, and transportation.

    21. A mini carry-on cocktail kit so they can craft up bar-worthy beverages at 30,000 feet and feel fancy. Available in classics like margarita, old fashioned, and Italian spritz — just add booze.

    22. A cotton sleep mask so they can block out the light that their seatmate has so rudely decided to turn on, even though this is an overnight flight and everyone is clearly trying to get some sort of sleep. Like, your book cannot be that good. Put it away. Read it some other time.

    23. Compression bags that will take their puffer jackets and thick sweaters and shrink 'em down to a fifth of their size, meaning that bringing only a carry-on along will actually be possible. These space-savers don't require a vacuum (which, come on, who has access to one while traveling?) and need to be simply rolled in order to get rid of excess air.

    24. An SPF 25-infused Jack Black lip balm for long-lasting hydration that even the recycled air aboard the airplane won't be able to ruin. Long gone will be the days of them fishing through their overstuffed backpack because of a need to reapply.

    25. Odor eliminators because dirty clothes + overused shoes + a small bag = SMELLINESS. But not with these bamboo and charcoal bags! Encourage them to toss these chemical-free deodorizing bags into their carry-on to keep their clothes smelling fresh (even if they are not, in fact, fresh at all).

    26. TSA-approved squeezable silicone containers because most hotel shampoos will make their hair greasy a mere .5 seconds after showering, which is why these are a stocking stuffer must. They're perfect for bringing along all of their favorite hair, body, and skincare products (the kind that are so rudely unavailable in travel-sized bottles).

    27. Disposable silicone earplugs to help them bid adieu to flying discomfort. Ear pain during air travel is REAL (babies are crying for a reason), but these nifty little things are the perfect way to help curb harsh noises and my-ears-are-popping altitudes.

    28. A Mario Badescu facial spray with an impressive blend of aloe, herbs, and rosewater that can do everything from set and refresh makeup, give their complexion a dewy appearance, and wake up tired skin. It'll also help their face feel clean...even though they're sitting in an economy seat with a person coughing next to them and are already beginning to feel the pimples start to form.

    29. Neoprene handle wraps available in fluorescent colors they can easily spot from space or, at the very least, from baggage claim. No more confusing their boring black suitcase with someone else's.

    30. A packing list notepad that will always come in handy, reminding them to bring all the small (but extremely important) miscellaneous items they'd have otherwise forgotten about. Did they pack 35 pairs of shoes? Yes. But did they pack contact solution, toothpaste, a hair tie, and socks? Probably not. That's where this gift will shine.

    31. A collapsible Nomader water bottle they can roll up and stow away when not in use. All they'll have to do is fill it up before their flight in case the drink carts take forever to come around, that way they're not slowly dying of both dehydration and a hatred of turbulence.

    32. An Energizer clip-on light that can be easily slipped on over that engrossing thriller paperback they're reading. Rather than turning on the overhead light in either the plane or their shared hostel dorm, this allows them to continue reading without disturbing anyone's beauty sleep.

    33. A LifeStraw personal water filter perfect for their next camping trip! This filters out all the icky bacteria out of pond, lake, and river water and turns it into a liquid that one can safely consume.

    34. Yes! A fanny pack! Not only is this great for airport travel, but it’s also great for all of their daily activities! Carrying around a crossbody while sightseeing genuinely hurts your shoulders after a while and makes you more susceptible to pickpocketing, which is what makes this Little Black Fanny Pack such a great investment and useful gift.
