The Bring Me! team is fortunate enough to visit some pretty special parts of the world. Here are our favorite places we traveled to this year that we can't stop raving about.

1. Slovenia

"I hadn't heard much about Slovenia until I decided to visit this past year — it's a nature lover's paradise. The natural beauty, countless hikes, amazing food, and genuinely nice people blew me away. The lakes were so emerald in color that they made my eyes hurt." —Lizz Warner

2. Yosemite National Park, USA

"I went to Yosemite which was AMAZING. I've always wanted to go, and it was even more beautiful in person than I could have ever imagined. It literally left me speechless on multiple occasions. "This is a cute alpine town on Lake Annecy in France. I went paragliding for the first time, and I will never forget the incredible views I saw. If you love cheese, you must try one of the many cheese dishes like tartiflette, fondue, raclette, etc." —Tiffany Lo

4. Venice, Italy

"Venice is the opposite of a hidden gem. It's a tourist mecca. I went expecting the crowds would detract from my experience — and trust me, the crowds do exist — but Venice was still one of the most magical places I've ever visited. I felt transported to another century." —James Lamon

5. Takayama, Japan

"Takayama is a small mountain town famous for its well-preserved wooden buildings from the Edo period, melt-in-your-mouth Hida beef, sake breweries, and a traditional folk village filled with historic buildings with thatched roofs. It's a little hard to get to but the train ride is gorgeous, and it was the highlight of my trip to Japan. It's the kind of place locals go to on vacation." —Brent Bennett

6. Egypt

"I did a little road trip in Egypt (Cairo to Ain Sokhna to El Gouna), and it was absolutely incredible! Egypt is nothing like I imagined it to be. Seeing the Pyramids of Giza was breathtaking. It's honestly hard to describe. You grow up seeing pictures of them, but you don't understand just how incredible they are until you see them with your own eyes. Also, the party scene in Egypt is crazy and nothing like I expected!" —Ada Enechi

7. Reykjavik, Iceland

"It's been my dream to go to Iceland to see the northern lights all of my life — and this year I finally made that life goal happen! I went by myself too, which I was initially a bit nervous to do, but it ended up being incredibly easy to navigate around and see the sights. I was so happy I got to see the northern lights on my last night!" —Brett Vergara

8. Cappadocia, Turkey

"The Cappadocia region is famous for being the best place in the world to ride a hot air balloon — hundreds of them take flight every morning. The simply stunning town of Göreme sits in a valley of alien-like chimney rock formations. It's unlike anywhere else on Earth, and it has incredible hotels, beautiful streets, good shopping, and delicious Turkish food. The Islamic call to prayer that rings out over the valley multiple times a day adds to the magic of the place." —Richard Reid

9. Zermatt, Switzerland

"This little village in the Swiss Alps is home to the iconic Matterhorn mountain. There are no cars, just small golf carts, and you can take the Gornergrat train or go on a hike to get close to the Matterhorn. The food was delicious, and all the restaurants were extremely cozy." —Tiffany Lo

10. Mexico City, Mexico

"Mexico City has a rich and ancient history, a colorful culture, a vibrant art scene, a pleasant climate, and some of the best food on Earth. Go shopping for art and antiques in San Ángel, eat and drink your way across La Condesa, see Lucha Libre at the Arena México, learn about ancient cultures at the National Museum of Anthropology, eat street tacos, do a mezcal tasting, explore cathedrals, visit the Aztec pyramids, float along the canals — the list goes on, and on, and on. And unlike New York or London, everything is affordable. You can live large on not a lot of money." —James Lamon

11. Copenhagen, Denmark

"Denmark is known for being one of the happiest countries in the world, and from my experience this is true. Everyone was super friendly, the service was great, and nothing can beat a real Danish pastry. The city of Copenhagen is rich and historic but at the same time modern and chic. The Scandinavian design all over the city is incredible; everyone dresses amazingly, and everywhere you go feels and looks super cute." —Ryan Paturzo

12. San Juan, Puerto Rico

"I was so blown away by how amazing San Juan was, not just in its natural beauty, but the unbelievable food and the warmth of the people. I was there for a few days for work, but I'm already excited to go back for fun and experience what else the island can offer!" —Kirby Beaton

13. Canmore, Canada

"I stayed in Canmore for a few nights on a road trip through the Canadian Rockies, and I thought about never leaving. The town has the most picturesque mountain range backdrop and some delicious places to eat and drink — it's the perfect place to relax. There are also stunning hiking trails nearby if you're that way inclined." —Louise Khong

14. Portugal

"Portugal genuinely has everything. Lagos has the most amazing rock formations out in the water, Lisbon has incredible sunset views (and the best rooftop bars I've ever been to), and Sintra is home to the Pena Palace; a brightly-colored castle that looks like it's straight out of a storybook. It's one of the most beautiful places I've been to in my life. I've never been to one country with so much — I'm obsessed, and I cannot wait to go back." —Jeff Thurm

15. Joshua Tree National Park, USA

"I went with my boyfriend and cat to Joshua Tree this year which made for an awesome and really fun trip. Not only is it beautiful, but Joshua Tree also has the best and most scenic hikes, and you can explore off the trails with your pet as long as they're on a leash!" —Kat Hartman

"I can't pick a favorite destination in Kerala because they were all amazing in different ways. I slept in a treehouse in the mountains and ate some of the best food I've ever had in Munnar, floated up to village markets and cooked fresh seafood on a houseboat in Alappuzha (Alleppey), and dined on the edge of a cliff at sunset in Varkala. The people, the food, and the chilled-out vibe made it exactly the holiday I needed." —Josie Ayre
