Honestly, as someone who is no longer nine years old, I'm more shook that grown ups ever fed this to kids.

But did you ever stop to actually wonder what LCMs stood for?

Well, our friends over at Pedestrian TV are reminding everyone that the answer is, in fact, nothing.

That's right, LCMs has no meaning whatsoever. Kellogg's even has an explainer on their website, which drops a little truth bomb over our childhood mems.

It says: "We wanted to find a name that was catchy and a bit different and LCMs seemed to hit the mark. We wish we had a better story for you, but we just liked the way the letters sounded together!"

Look, I'll be the first to admit that LCMs is catchy — so well done Kellogg's, I guess. But I still can't help but feel that my younger years were a lie.
