    Yep! These ones are easy to recycle – just give them a quick wash out and then chuck them in your bin.

    Eeek, this one is an easy mistake to make, but unfortunately cling film is not yet recyclable.

  3. Can you recycle plastic milk bottles?

    You definitely can recycle your plastic milk bottles! Prep them for the bin by rinsing them out, leaving the labels and lids on, and squashing the bottles to save a bit of space.

    They're just too difficult to clean out and can cause cross-contamination in the sorting process!

    You can recycle glass bottles of any colour and food jars at home – however, light bulbs and neon tubes need to be taken to a local recycling centre.

    In the UK, we recycle about 75% of steel packaging – and while that is pretty impressive, it still isn't perfect!

    Almost all types of paper will pass the scrunch test and are therefore recyclable! Glitter and metallic shiny papers, however, usually fail the test, so check before you chuck.
