Turns out, our absorbent and yellow friend SpongeBob isn’t as innocent as we thought as kids.
You heard me: SpongeBob SquarePants has some adult humor that went over my head when I was younger, and it probably went over yours, too.
Like, can we talk about that time SpongeBob, Mr. Krabs, and Patrick were caught in a *lowers voice* panty raid?
Or that time Scooter over here mistook SpongeBob’s pet seahorse Mystery for a kiddie ride and put a coin in some COIN SLOT offscreen?
And don’t get me started on that time Patrick didn’t let us see that ~embarrassing~ picture of SpongeBob at the Christmas party!!!
