Horrific Bus Crash In Italy Leaves At Least 38 Dead

It is not immediately clear why the bus driver lost control of the vehicle.

1. Authorities on Monday were investigating why a driver lost control of a bus carrying Italian tourists, crashed through the side wall of a highway bridge, and plunged into a ravine. At least 38 people were killed in the accident.

The bus was carrying a group of tourists from the town of Pozzuoli, on the coast east of Naples.

2. It was one of the worst road accidents in Italy’s history, Reuters reported, and the second transportation disaster to hit southern Europe in the space of five days.
