We've all been there, the this-will-be-the-start-of-something-exciting-in-my-life-wait-omg-shet-ayoko-na-joke-lang-hoy-anoba-huhu-take-me-back moment of your life. Of course, we are talking about your first job as a fresh grad.

Yes, the life of a fresh grad. After graduation atat na atat mag-job hunt at quick trip agad to our bessy jobstreet.com. (Although some of us actually just wanna enjoy our summer vacay. LOL Not me.)

To feel the official life of an adult, the first thing we know that we have to experience is "the real life" or in other words WORKING. Well at first, excited tayo syempre! Doon papasok si #1

Aminin.. This is obviously what's on your mind the first time you've ever thought of going to those online job hunting websites. We have to earn for ourselves, i mean not only for ourselves but also for our families. (Hindi habang buhay palamunin aber!)

#2 THE ORIENTATION (EMBRACING THE AWKWARDNESS)

At the orientation you would be enlightened kung ano ba talaga ang pinasok mo. What does your company do and who the heck will be working with you. Looking at everybody with you, parang mag to-throwback sa first day of class mo, everybody seems to know everybody else.. (May pre-orientation ba kahapon? Hindi ka ba na-orient?)

Well everyone has that awkward phase! Embrace the awkwardness and know everybody! Widen up your circle because you are alreasy starting to grow up! (we do also need connections.)

#3 UHM.. WAIT WHAT?

After your orientation, you will be introduced to your job. (Ano ba talaga gagawin mo?) Of course, at first magtataka ka, like ano ba gagawin ko omg what did I get myself into?!

You will be trained first of what will be the things that you will do at work. Or if you will be replacing somebody, he/she will turn over things to you. (Don't worry you will be guided!..... sometimes. Because sometimes you won't get it and most of the time magulo yung nagtu-turn over sayo LOL!)

#4 NEVER EXPECT

Never expect things. Like, waking up in the morning and expecting to get to work early. (No, that rarely happens) Once you've been working for a few weeks you will definitely be worn out by the end of the day and you will find it difficult to wake up the next day.

Next thing, never expect for a higher wage when you're just a probi. Everybody starts as a probi and being probi means "leave without pay" LOL!

After that is TAX, oooohhh gurl you will be shookt. I won't be giving out anything about this. I will just let you wallow on the experience.

Then finally, NEVER expect everybody to kind to you. In the working industry, you don't expect everybody to be kind to you.

You'll see what I'm talking about.

#5 PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE

I only have a few words for this, HAHABA ANG PASENSYA MO. Your patience will be tested once you start working not just for your boss, but also for the people around you. LOL!

So enjoy naman ang working life! Difficult, but everything good in life is not easy.. You just have to perservere!
