Makeup and hair artist, Ami Desai, and BuzzFeed Top Knot have come together to create one beautiful Indian wedding look that you can do at home yourself. Get ready to be stunned.
Step-by-step instructions:
EYES:
-Place tape under bottom lash line at an angle to prevent shadow fall out and to get a nice wing when lining eyes. I normally only do this when doing a more dramatic eye so I don't pull too much at the skin around the eye, which is the most sensitive.
-Prime the lid with MAC paint pot in Soft Ochre.
-Using Lorac Unzipped palette, use "Undercover" as a base color, "Unconditional" as a transition color, and "Unbridled" to darken your crease. Follow with "Untamed" to darken that crease. Use MAC Carbon to really smoke the outer-v of your crease.
-Mix colors "Unattainable" and "Undiscovered" from Lorac Unzipped palette to highlight the center of your lid. Spray with a little MAC fix-it spray to make it really stand out.
-Follow with the gold glitter end of Revlon eye art lid in Topaz Twinkle. Let dry.
-Line top lids with Tarteist clay paint liner in black and wing it out (love the brush it comes with to do this!).
-Curl lashes and apply one coat of mascara. I'm using Smashbox Full Exposure waterproof mascara. Apply false lashes. I'm using more dramatic no-name ones in #38.
-Line your water line with Loreal Infallible Never Fail eyeliner in carbon black. Line a little outside waterline and smudge it out with "Unbridled" from the Lorac Unzipped palette. Highlight the inner corner of eyes with "Undiscovered" to make them pop.
-Apply a thin line of gold directly under your wing. I'm using NYX crystal liner in Crystal Silk. Clean up any residual fall out with a makeup wipe.
FACE:
-Prime face. I'm using Monistat anti-chafing gel. Apply corrector to under eyes. I'm using NYX dark circle concealer corrector in Medium.
-Apply foundation. I'm wearing MAC prolong wear in NC40. Blend out with damp beauty blender
-Apply concealer. I mixed MAC prolong wear in NC35 with Maybelline superstar better than skin concealer in shade 40 (medium). Set under eyes with loose powder. I'm using Airspun loose powder in naturally neutral.
-While the powder sets contour nose and cheekbones. I'm using Physicians Formula Super BB #instaready contour trio in bronze trio. Blend out the contour and then the setting powder and make sure there are no harsh lines.
-Take a big blending brush and hit contour areas with powder contour. I'm using Milani baked bronzer in Soleil.
-Apply blush to apples of cheeks. I'm using Milani baked blush in Luminoso.
-Apply highlighter to upper part of cheekbones, bridge of nose and cupids bow. I'm using Lorac illuminating highlighter in starlight.
LIPS:
-Line lips with a dark lip pencil. I'm using Ben Nye in color op-144. Contour lips and leave centers open. Fill in with NYX butter lipstick in pops explosif. Follow with a gloss if you like that look. I'm using a sheer YSL gloss from a trio pack
SET YOUR LOOK:
-Finish with a face setting spray. I'm using Skindonavia primer spray.
