Response to What Poem Changed Your Life?:
It’s interesting to see buzzfeed put robert frost’s poem. When I was young and full of angst, I read that poem and was instantly fascinated,
“Two roads diverged in a wood, and I— I took the one less traveled by,And that has made all the difference.”
And with that line, I took the road less traveled, I chose to study Animation, because it was niche and I thought it would make me a special snowflake.
After suffering through 3 years of animation and regrets, I reread the poem and realised my primary mistake, robert frost was not asking ppl to take the road less traveled. What I think he means to say, is that no matter which route you take, you would still look back with regret. Further research revealed he was making fun of a friend, who was indecisive. I was played like a fool by Robert Frost, and till this day, I still love this poem
