Response to 53 Books You Won’t Be Able To Put Down:
High School AP Lit Nerd here—Heart of Darkness was the most difficult book I’ve ever read, and most of my classmates would probably agree. It was an incredibly dense and complicated 80 pages to get through, plus there were some narration shifts that were hard to follow. No disrespect towards the novel, but it wasn’t a page turner for me by any means.
Ditto on the heels one. I get that on a monthly basis.
