    Which includes Houdini's insane prop list (which kind of makes Beyoncé's rider look like a piece of cake).

    The Boston Public Library apparently owns this scrapbook of Houdini ephemera and relics. The scrapbook was maintained between 1904 and 1926 by Houdini's friend, Quincy Kilby.

    Unlike an ordinary fan scrapbook, this one is filled with insider stuff.

    Here, a Christmas card referencing the work Houdini was doing just prior to his death — exposing "psychics" and the like. He would often attend séances in disguise and expose psychics as frauds.
