    5. Panic: The stage at which you have confirmed that your computer is fucked and no, you did not back up.

    6. Confusion: The stage at which you don't understand why this is happening.

    7. Denial: The refusal to believe what your IT specialist is telling you.

    8. Anxiety: The stage at which you wait for good news...or bad.

    9. Complete fucking loss of your sanity: YOU NOW KNOW THE WORLD IS ENDING.

    10. Anger: Anger at the Cloud. Anger at yourself.

    11. Annoyance: The period of time shortly after a technical failure in which everyone tells you that you should have backed up.

    13. Mourning: The stage at which you are unable to get past the loss.

    14. Depression: Prolonged, all-encompassing grief and inability to cope.
