Phyll Opoku-Gyimah (better known as Lady Phyll) is the co-founder, executive and trustee of UK black pride and trustee of LGBT rights charity Stonewall. They'll be joining us at LUU as part of our Speak Up series. And best of all, you won't have to pay a penny.

Monday 25 September, 7pm-9pm in the Riley Smith Theatre.

5. E-Sports Night / Via

Like your games? Head to Common Ground for our gaming night and compete in tournaments on consoles and retro arcade machines. Plus if you think you’re good enough, why not sign up to Leeds University's first ever e-sports varsity team?

Wednesday 27 September, 5pm-10pm, LUU Common Ground.

9. Roof Garden Volunteering Session / Via

Bet you didn't know that LUU has its own rooftop garden? Whether you're a pro or just sprouting an interest in all things plants, our food growing project, Rooted are looking for volunteers to help out.

Monday 18 September, 12pm-2pm in the Roof Garden.

And that's not all...
