🚨 Warning, major spoilers ahead for all five seasons of Money Heist. 🚨
I know Berlin was wrong for this, but in his defence Tokyo was moving reckless. I guess this was the push she needed to finally get herself together.
This was the moment she became my absolute fav, and when I knew things were about to go DOWN!
The scene made me so happy, and then sad straight afterwards when Moscow got shot by the police whilst trying to help Tokyo get in.
Not gonna lie, after everything they went through, I really wanted Berlin to escape with the others. However, seeing him in the newer seasons really warmed my heart – even if they were just flashbacks. It felt like he was still alive and a part of the second heist too!
To see them actually escape was surreal, and the fact that they all came out dressed as the cities they were named after made their exit so iconic!
Rio was tortured for 18 days... Let that sink in.
I literally had the same reaction as The Professor, until it was revealed that the police had faked everything. I didn't know whether to feel relieved that Lisbon was still alive, or betrayed that the showrunners thought it was okay to play with our emotions like that!
Intense isn't even the word to describe this moment.
Yes, I know it was a trap that lead to her getting shot by a sniper, but I'm glad she was able to see her son one last time.
This was by far my favourite rescue! It made me realise how underrated Benjamín and Marseille were.
After watching this scene I genuinely thought that was it for The Professor. The season ending immediately after this moment, which only left us with more questions – did she shoot him, or did he get away?? We really needed to know!
This is the moment I wish I could erase from my mind because it's responsible for 99% of my trust issues! You're telling me that she almost DIED in season four, and just when we thought she was safe, Gandía kills her? How could he?!
If Money Heist has taught us anything, it’s to expect the unexpected. I know I speak for many of us when I say I did NOT see this coming, seeing as Tokyo was the narrator for the series.
Each scene leading up to this moment added to how heartbreaking the whole thing was – from Denver trying to get her to escape with him, to Rio trying to get to her on time – it was honestly too much! I'm just happy she fought until the very end and avenged Nairobi in the process.
Seeing them all happy, singing, and dancing literally made my day! However, knowing Money Heist and its constant twists, I couldn't help but anticipate what terrible turn of events were in store whenever the gang would celebrate.
I had mixed feelings about this one because there's annoying, and then there's Arturo! He really knew how to push everyone's buttons, but to actually see him get shot was shocking, and Stockholm's PTSD made me think that ~maybe~ it wasn't worth it.
Up until this moment I didn't really like Palermo, but seeing how much he truly cared about Berlin really touched me!
This was by far my favourite escape because of how impossible it seemed at the time. I had no idea how they were gonna pull this one off – especially because they had a baby with them – but somehow The Professor made it work!
I swear, Denver stressed me out so much – I genuinely thought he was going to ruin everything! Instead, he ended up just wasting police time in a classic Denver way, and didn't disappoint in making us laugh in the process.
I don't think I'm wrong in saying there was a collective hatred towards Alicia Sierra amongst viewers throughout the series, especially after she got Nairobi shot and tortured Rio. However, I have to admit that her character development was amazing! I think we can all agree that we didn't foresee liking her in the end – I call it The Professor effect – but seeing her bond with him and then help the whole crew find the gold honestly did it for me.
The Professor finally embraced his true nature in the last episode, and I was all here for it!
I don’t know about you, but once the police broke into the Bank of Spain and arrested them, I thought that was it. Just when we were all starting to lose faith, The Professor once again proved that he was one step ahead and made sure they all got out unharmed.
