For a brief, shining moment, Canadians got a taste of what it's like to live in a country where cell phone plans aren't total shit.
For context, right now Rogers charges $110 for unlimited Canada-wide calling and 6 measly gigabytes.
Bell charges $115 for unlimited calling and just 4 lousy GB.
Telus, meanwhile, will give your sorry ass 2 GB for $70 if you bring your own phone.
So $60 for 10 WHOLE GB is nothing to scoff at.
Is this how people in other counties live their lives?
And also why are we suddenly only now being blessed with such a low price?
But actually getting the deal was a whole other challenge.
People were reporting long customer service wait times, or just not being able to get through at all.
Wait time screenshots were shared.
But that's just life under the Big Three.
