    Leonard Cohen Reading "In Flanders Fields" Is What We All Need Today

    Lest we forget.

    Legendary Canadian musician Leonard Cohen has died at the age of 82, leaving a hole in our hearts as deep as his voice.

    His death was announced the eve before Remembrance Day and now Canadians are resharing Cohen's reading of "In Flanders Fields."

    It was recorded last year to mark the 100th anniversary of the famous poem by John McCrae. Cohen reads it in his signature gravelly voice, set to images from the First World War.

    It's enough to give you chills, and today Canadians are sharing the video to remember both fallen soldiers and Cohen himself.

    His iconic voice and those iconic words together are simply beautiful.

    And it's being shared by other Canadian musicians, too.
