      In their Leadership and Business class a group of students created and named The Backyard as one of their projects.       The Bell which stands at the entrance to the Welcome Center was brought to Texas on the Ben Nevis clipper ship. This ship sailed from Saxony, Germany in 1854 bringing 588 Wendish Lutherans who settled in Serbin, TX. The bell found it's home at Saint Paul Lutheran Church in Serbin until 1927 when it was moved to Concordia College.

      The Tornado Trail was officially opened in April, during Nature Fest 2018. From sunrise to sunset, the campus and local community can enjoy hiking & biking on this easy trail loop system.
