Ryan Reynolds Said He'd Love To Play Mac's Boyfriend On "It's Always Sunny," And Rob McElhenney Is Definitely Into It

I just can't stop thinking about how different life would be if Ryan Reynolds actually got cast as Superman and Rob McElhenney was cast as Anakin Skywalker. Sponsored by Petco.

Back in August, we revealed that Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney would be doing their first puppy interview together, and we asked fans to send in all the questions they had for them.

And to celebrate FX's Welcome to Wrexham's season finale streaming on Hulu October 13, Ryan and Rob enthusiastically sat down with BuzzFeed to play with the sweetest puppies you'll ever see...all while answering YOUR questions.

And, like...I don't think you get it, I'm *obsessed*.

Rob and Ryan talked about their favorite behind-the-scenes moments while filming Welcome to Wrexham...or at least we tried to get them to:

Rob and Ryan so distracted by the puppies that they can't remember the question they're being asked

Ryan said he's been waiting for his It's Always Sunny cameo, and Rob said that he DID need someone to play Mac's boyfriend:

Ryan says he's offended he hasn't been asked to be on It's Always Sunny, Rob says he does need someone to play Mac's boyfriend, and Ryan says "Great, let's do it"

Ryan shared that he once auditioned for Superman...

...and in another world, Rob could've been Anakin Skywalker.

Rob was told he couldn't be Anakin because of his blue, and he said "you're creating entire armies full of mutant robots, and you can't change somebody's eyes?"

All in all, it was a pure delight.
