    This Is What The "Home Alone" Cast Looks Like Exactly 30 Years Later

    They were iconic then, and are still iconic now.

    1. Macaulay Culkin as Kevin McCallister

    Then: The 10-year-old Macaulay played Kevin McCallister in Home Alone and Home Alone 2, and went on to star in other hits like My Girl and Richie Rich.

    Now: Currently, Macaulay is publisher and CEO of a satirical pop culture website and podcast called Bunny Ears. He's a frequent guest on Red Letter Media, a film- and TV-themed YouTube channel. He's also been dating Brenda Song since 2017 and has appeared alongside her in projects like Changeland and Dollface. Earlier this year, it was also announced that he'd be part of American Horror Story's Season 10 cast.

    2. Catherine O'Hara as Kate McCallister

    Then: She started her career in the '70s on Second City Television (SCTV) as a performer, then later as writer on the show and received an Emmy for her work. She also appeared in a bunch of iconic movies like Beetlejuice, After Hours, Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, and Temple Grandin, and TV shows like Six Feet Under and Curb Your Enthusiasm.

    Now: She went on to appear in even more great movies and TV shows, but she's most widely known for her portrayal of Moira Rose on Schitt's Creek. This year, she even won an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her role.

    3. John Heard as Peter McCallister

    Then: His professional acting career started in the '70s after performing in various stage plays. He went on to act in movies like Heart Beat, Cutter's Way, Big, After Hours, Beaches, The Package, and Deceived.

    Now: He continued acting and appeared in Sharknado, as well as TV series like The Sopranos, Prison Break, and The Client. Sadly, John died of a heart attack in 2017.

    4. Joe Pesci as Harry Lime

    Then: Joe's had his claim to fame after appearing in Goodfellas, Once Upon a Time in America, and Raging Bull. He played Harry Lime, one of the very memorable burglars in Home Alone.

    Now: He's appeared in a bunch of other hit movies and worked alongside Robert De Niro and Martin Scorsese. He most recently came out of retirement for Scorsese's The Irishman, a role for which he received Oscar, Golden Globe, and Screen Actors Guild nominations.

    5. Daniel Stern as Marv Merchants

    Then: He appeared in many movies including Stardust Memories, Hannah and Her Sisters, and City Slickers. Then, he went on to play Marv in Home Alone.

    Now: He's continued to act as well as direct and write. He wrote and starred in the CBS show Danny and directed several episodes of The Wonder Years. Most recently, he starred in Netflix's Game Over, Man!.

    6. Devin Ratray as Buzz McCallister

    Then: The 13-year-old Devin played Kevin's older brother Buzz McCallister.

    Now: He continued to act and he's appeared in shows and movies like Mosaic, Chicago Med, Russian Doll, Hustlers, Masterminds, Rough Night, and Girls. He also had a recurring role on Amazon's The Tick where he played Tinfoil Kevin.

    7. Gerry Bamman as Uncle Frank

    Then: He slowly rose to fame after appearing in The Secret of My Success and Old Enough. Then, he played Uncle Frank in Home Alone.

    Now: He continued to act and can be seen in TV shows like The Following, The Good Wife, Damages, and Sex and the City, as well as movies like Around the Bend, The Cookout, Runaway Jury, and Double Whammy.

    8. Kieran Culkin as Fuller McCallister

    Then: The 8-year-old Kieran, Macaulay's real-life younger brother, played Kevin McCallister's cousin.

    Now: He went on to appear in a number of movies like Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Igby Goes Down, Movie 43, and The Cider House Rules. He stars on the hit HBO series Succession as Roman Roy, and was nominated for a Golden Globe in 2018 for his performance.

    9. Larry Hankin as Officer Balzak

    Then: He appeared briefly in many movies and in Home Alone he played Officer Balzak.

    Now: He's continued to act in a plethora of iconic movies and TV shows. He's currently known for many iconic roles like Mr. Heckles on Friends, Tom Pepper on Seinfeld, Charley Butts in Escape from Alcatraz, as well as Old Joe in Breaking Bad — a role he reprised in the Netflix movie El Camino.
