The husband of concert pianist Natalia Strelchenko has been found guilty of murdering her.
Strelchenko, 38, was found dead at the home she shared with John Martin in the Newton Heath area of Manchester last August.
She died of neck and head injuries and Martin, 48, was arrested at the scene.
Martin, who was also Strelchenko's manager, was charged with her murder in September and was found guilty at Manchester crown court on Friday.
He had denied the murder, claiming to have no memory of inflicting the crime he was accused of, but the prosecution said he was simply trying to "camouflage his guilt".
He will be sentenced on Monday.
