Eight years later, the pair are reportedly an item — and as it turns out, a mutual musical acquaintance might've been the one to bring them together.

Entertainment Tonight reports that Bleachers frontman and super-producer Jack Antonoff — who's worked extensively with both the 1975 and Taylor in recent years — was the one who "reconnected" Taylor and Matty.

"Taylor and Matty have been hanging out recently, and Jack Antonoff reconnected them," a source told the publication.

Another source said that Taylor and Matty "like each other" and that they've also dated in the past.

"Taylor has a crush on Matty, and they are having a good time hanging out," the source added. "Matty also thinks Taylor is awesome and incredibly talented, too."
