Shenae Grimes Responded To Commenters Who Said Her Haircut Is "Terrible" In A New TikTok, And She Has A Good Point

"When people let you know you didn't 'age terribly' because of your wrinkles."

Shenae Grimes isn't suffering any fools this month.

Let's do a quick recap: Last week, the Degrassi and 90210 star shared a video on IG where she addressed commenters who have said the 33-year-old actor has "aged terribly."

"I’m nearly 34 years old with two kids — what the hell do you expect?!" she said in the caption, after addressing the problematic discourse around aging.

"People of the internet, I'm going to let you in on a little secret," she wrote. "If you see a woman above the age of 30 and she doesn't look a little bit like this [with wrinkles], she's more than likely had something injected into her face...I'm not shaming anybody for doing it. In fact, I'm very curious about doing it myself. And I'm not trying to out anybody, but in the same breath, I think we've gotten so used to seeing people who have had fillers and Botox talking about skincare recommendations and makeup hacks to make you look youthful and perfect and plastic. We've actually started to believe that that's what you can look like without injecting anything into your face."

Now, Shenae's back with another response to the haters about her looks — and this time her comments are addressing people who are criticizing her haircut.

"When ppl let you know you didn't 'age terribly' because of your wrinkles," she wrote in text overlaying the video, "it's because of your new 'terrible haircut.'"

The TikTok was accompanied by audio of TikTok'er Chris Dapkas saying, "What if, and just hear me out for a second, you shut the fuck up" — as well as Shenae's caption, "I know, it’s a novel idea! 🤯".

When a commenter rudely replied, "It's definitely the hair," Shenae had a powerful message to fire back within the comments.

"Sometimes it is better to say nothing at all if you don’t have anything nice to say!" she replied, while also stating that her TikTok page "is for positive vibes only."
