Celebrities continue to show their support for Britney Spears, after the pop star's shocking and emotional court statement last week regarding the conservatorship she's lived under for years.
Fellow pop star Christina Aguilera — who also saw great success during Britney's initial superstardom in the 2000s — has now issued a lengthy Twitter thread in support of Spears.
"These past few days I’ve been thinking about Britney and everything she is going through," Aguilera began, before saying that it's "unacceptable that any woman, or human, wanting to be in control of their own destiny might not be allowed to live life as they wish."
