In case you don't already know, a catfish is someone who pretends to be someone else online. There's an entire show on MTV about it, and there have been countless stories written about the art of catfishing.

By now, most of us have either seen the show, heard about it happening, or had it happen to US.

Maybe it was someone who just created a fake profile because they were bored...

Or maybe it was someone who created a fake profile to pursue romantic relationships.

Or maybe someone created a fake profile and there's no reason why, but they did it anyway.
