Just So We're Clear, Women Definitely Don't Need To Have Children

    Spoiler alert: We don't.

Hello, fellow people of the world, woman here, and I'm reeeeaaallllyyyy tired of the idea that women have to, or should, reproduce at some point in their lives.

The days of needing to reproduce to keep a village going or whatever are way over. We now live in a world where we have millions of people and we definitely don't need* more children.

So why are people still bugging women about when they're gonna pop out a baby? Why are they asking female politicians why they aren't mothers — as if that's any of their business?

First of all, there are a lot of reasons why women don't reproduce.

Second of all, why do you think it's OK to ask someone a personal question like that?

Also, why would you ask this instead of...oh, IDK, what they want to do with their life? What their aspirations are? What they're watching on Netflix? What they think of the damn weather???

And don't even get me started on the fact that you aren't asking men when they're going to become dads.

Honestly, there are so, so, so, so many other things that you could talk to women about besides the next time they're gonna pop out a baby. So LET'S START DOING THAT.

In conclusion, women are more than just their reproductive organs. Please start acting like it.
