Although this song came out about half a year ago, it's really starting to blow up now. Talented, lyrical rappers are beginning to emerge and "real talk" in rap music is coming back. In no way is this a condescending remark to women. In fact, 6LACK speaks of utmost respect for the empowered, independent women who he can treat as an equal. How can you treat someone equally if they don't act like one? This isn't exclusive to women, but a plethora of people rely on their looks to get by. But physical attraction is temporary and the qualities we seek in a long-term partner are ones of ambition, independence, and self-security. We are not here to be of service to our partners but to be a mutually dependent team. So much respect for 6LACK, check out his album Free 6LACK.
