What To Do When You've Binge-Watched Your Favorite Show In 24 Hours

So you've just finished the entire season of "The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" in an unbelievable 24 hours - no worries! Here are some popularly-binged Netflix programming paired with similar shows equally as binge-worthy.

Posted on

1. If You Like: The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt

Then Try: 30 Rock. Irreverent with incredible wit, Tina Fey and Robert Carlock's original comedy series is just as fast-paced and hilarious as "Kimmy," but with 6 more seasons. Added bonus: 30 Rock also features appearances from Jane Krakowski (Jacqueline Voorhees), Tituss Burgess (Titus) and, of course, Ms. Fey.

Where to find it: Seasons 1-7 of 30 Rock are currently available on Netflix.

2. If You Like: Orange is the New Black

Then Try: Orphan Black. Though technically a show deeply rooted within the Sci-Fi genre, Orphan Black, like "Orange," is comprised of a predominantly female ensemble of strong, hilarious, butt-kicking women. Playing anywhere from five to ten different clones, actress Tatiana Maslany shines in a series as dark as it is witty.

Where to find it: Orphan Black seasons one and two are currently available on Amazon Instant Video, Vudu & Google Play.

3. If You Like: House of Cards

Then Try: Alpha House. Though less dark and much more humorous than Beau Willimon's epic political drama, Alpha House is the perfect program for anyone interested in the lighter side of politics. Starring John Goodman and Mark Consuelos as two of four Republican senators sharing the same living space, Alpha House is one show you won't want to veto.

Where to find it: Seasons one and two of Alpha House are currently available on Amazon Instant Video.

4. If You Like: Arrested Development

Then Try: The Comeback. Like Arrested Development, The Comeback basks in the hilarity of its weird, awkward humor. Now in its second season on HBO, The Comeback stars Lisa Kudrow as Valerie Cherish, a melodramatic, borderline-delusional actress trying to make it in the age of reality television. Valerie's laugh-out-loud, bizarre antics are as close as it gets to those of the wonderfully weird Bluth family.

Where to find it: Seasons 1 and 2 of The Comeback are available to stream on HBO Go.

5. If You Like: Hemlock Grove

Then Try: American Horror Story. Like "Hemlock," American Horror Story is both terrifyingly intriguing and deliciously twisted. Unlike Hemlock, though, which has two seasons currently available on Netflix, "AHS" has four seasons under its belt and a fifth in the works...set to feature Lady Gaga.

Where to find it: Seasons 1-3 of American Horror Story are available on Hulu Plus and Amazon Instant Video.

6. If You Like: Daredevil

Then Try: The Flash. Netflix's Daredevil is essentially the more serious, much grimmer older brother to The CW's The Flash. Action-packed, thrilling and witty, The Flash is equal parts fun and epic, and is likely to entertain anyone fond of enthralling comic-book-fueled sagas.

Where to find it: Season one of The Flash is available on Hulu Plus and Google Play.
