Tina Knowles Lawson Accepted Beyoncé's BET Award Like A Total Boss

    Slay, Tina!

Last night, Beyoncé surprised everyone and showed up at the BET Awards to perform "Freedom" alongside Kendrick Lamar.

It was literally straight fire. 🔥 🔥 🔥

Unfortunately, Bey already left the building before she won Video Of The Year for "Formation" and the Viewers' Choice Award. Luckily, Tina Knowles Lawson went on stage to accept the award on her daughter's behalf.

In classic Tina Knowles Lawson fashion, she slayed.

"I want to thank the fans for riding with Beyoncé since she was 15 years old, I mean, that's amazing," she said. "And allowing her to grow and to change and evolve and to be a grown woman."

"I also want to thank her father who taught her the business of music," she continued.

And then she made a beautiful statement about appreciating our favorite musical artists while they're alive.

By the end of her speech, we forgot that TINA wasn't the one winning an award.

    So many goals.
