10. Forget about spending all of your time and money looking for the perfect gift for someone else. You get to buy YOURSELF a present instead.
11. And you don't have to pretend to like the gift your significant other would get you.
12. Since you don't have to buy a bunch of presents for your S.O. and/or their family, your bank account looks really, really nice.
13. You don't need to impress anyone with sexy, holiday-themed pajamas, so you get to wear your cozy onesie every single night.
14. You're not obligated to kiss one specific person on New Year's Eve — you can have your pick of the litter.
15. Not to mention, you can bring anyone you want under the mistletoe.
16. You have the chance to do fun holiday things and make memories with your friends, not just someone you might break up with at one point or another.
17. Plus, it's hard to be lonely when you have holiday-themed plans every weekend from Thanksgiving until January.
18. You get to end the year completely focusing on yourself and your own happiness and don't need to worry about anyone else.
