Jane Gloriana Villanueva, Jane the Virgin's main character, has been caught in a complicated love triangle since the beginning of the show.
A part of her loves Rafael Solano, the father of her child.
And another part of her loves Michael Cordero, her former fiancé, whom she dated for two years before being accidentally artificially inseminated.
Naturally, because Jane loves both men and is torn between the two, they don't get along and don't like each other very much.
But have no fear!
In real life, Rafael and Michael (aka Justin Baldoni and Brett Dier) get along famously.
Like, really famously.
From the looks of things, some might even call them besties.
On set, the two can be found goofing off.
And making light of their roles in Jane the Virgin.
They seem to enjoy each other's company.
And share a great sense of humor.
Dier's such a good pal, he even helps Baldoni tie his shoes when necessary.
The women in their lives are even well-acquainted. (Of course, these goofballs take it upon themselves to make fun of them.)
Baldoni even captioned this photo on Instagram, "Dear Brett, I never knew just how much you loved me until I saw this picture...I just want you to know, the feeling is mutual."
