Lunch Boxes 4 Ways

Ham and Cheese Waffle Sandwich

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 4 homestyle frozen waffles, toasted
  • 2 slices Kroger Nitrate Free Black Forest Ham
  • 2 slices Swiss cheese
  • 2 Kroger Cinnamon Applesauce Pouch
  • 10 carrot sticks, for serving

Directions:

  1. Mix maple syrup and mayonnaise together in a small bowl and set aside.

  2. Spread maple mayo on each waffle and top with a slice of ham and Swiss cheese. Add a second waffle on top to create a sandwich. Slice in half.

  3. Serve with Kroger Cinnamon Applesauce Pouch and carrot sticks.

Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato and Avocado Sandwich

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices Market & Mill Artisan Style Golden Honey Wheat Bakery Bread
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 2 slices cooked bacon (use leftover from breakfast)
  • 1 piece green leaf lettuce
  • 2 slices tomato
  • 3 slices avocado
  • 1 Kroger Cinnamon Applesauce Pouch
  • 1 orange slices, for serving

Directions:

  1. Spread mayonnaise on a slice of Market & Mill Artisan Style Golden Honey Wheat Bakery Bread.

  2. Break the pieces of cooked bacon in half and layer on the bread in a crosshatch. Top with lettuce, tomato, avocado and the second piece of bread. Cut in half.

  3. Serve with Kroger Cinnamon Applesauce Pouch and orange slices.

Honey Mustard Turkey Roll-Up

Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon brown mustard
  • 2 Kroger Fresh Flour Taco Tortilla
  • ¼ cup baby spinach
  • 2 slices yellow cheddar cheese, cut in half
  • 4 slices Kroger Nitrate Free Turkey Breast
  • 2 Kroger Cinnamon Applesauce Pouch
  • 2 bunch of grapes, for serving

Directions:

  1. Mix together mayonnaise, honey, and brown mustard.

  2. Spread honey mustard on tortillas.

  3. Top with baby spinach, cheddar cheese, and turkey. Roll up and cut on a bias.

  4. Serve with Kroger Cinnamon Applesauce Pouch and grapes.

**Note: Honey mustard can be made ahead.

Peanut Butter Apple Sandwiches

Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup peanut butter (or alternative nut-butter)
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 3 apples, different varieties
  • 3 tablespoons mini chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup honey granola
  • 3 Kroger Cinnamon Applesauce Pouch
  • 15 celery sticks

Directions:

  1. Mix peanut butter and honey together in a small bowl and set aside.

  2. Wash apples and slice into ½ inch slices. Punch out core with an apple corer or small cookie cutter.

  3. Spread honey peanut butter on all apple slices and top half of the slices with mini chocolate chips and granola.

  4. Sandwich apple slices together using two different color apples per sandwich.

  5. Serve with Kroger Cinnamon Applesauce Pouch and celery sticks.
