Instead of your generic poster board and bouquet of flowers, the aspiring filmmaker remade the whole damn La La Land opening scene to ask Emma Stone to prom.

Unfortunately, Academy Award winner Emma Stone was a wee bit busy filming in London, but sent along a note thanking him for the invite. Jacob shared the message in an interview on Good Morning America last month:
JACOB, thanks for making the greatest proposal I’ve ever received. I can’t tell you what an honor that was and how much I smiled through that entire beautifully orchestrated video. I’m in London working, but I hope you have the best time at prom, and I’m grateful you thought of me. THANK YOU. P.S. I do see Gosling around the eyes. Love, Emma.
But in true Hollywood fashion, the story doesn't end there! Because she is an actual angel, Emma also decided to mail Jacob and his date corsages for the big night.
