So, the women of Ladylike have their preferred period products, but are there some cheaper options out there? We decided to see if we could guess the prices of common menstrual products we don't usually use:
We started easy with that standard Box o' Tampax that all of us have at least some experience with:
Here were our guesses for how much a Tampax box of 18 cost:
Which means Jen's was the closest guess, but none of us were crazy far off:
Next we moved on to something harder and that none of us have bought before: organic tampons with no plastic applicators, that look like big cotton pills:
Here were our guesses for the pack of 20 Seventh Generation organic tampons:
Which means at $7.50, Kristin's guess was the closest!
We moved on to the Softcups, which are disposal menstrual cups you put inside your vagina to collect blood:
Here were all of our guesses for the box of 14 Softcups:
Which means Kristin and Freddie were closest, but here's a gif of Jen tipping the softcup like it is a hat because it's the best thing.
Next was the Diva Cup, which somehow in the year of our lord 2017, none of the four of us had tried it:
Here were our guesses for the Diva Cup:
Fred was the closest, but we were all pretty shocked with how much Diva Cups are (even though it can be well worth your investment!)
Then we tried to guess the price for Summer's Eve wipes, which aren't exactly menstrual hygiene products, but they deal with a lot of the same, uh, geography:
Here were our guesses for the 32 pack of Summer's Eve night-time cleaning cloths (lavender scented):
Kristin was the closest, but we're all winners here.
Finally, we guessed the price for a package of regular old pads:
Here were our guesses for the package of 46 Always ultra-thin pads:
Jen was the closest this time, but really, all of our guesses for all products should always be zero dollars.
