    15 Costar Duos Who Hate Each Other On Screen, But In Real Life, It's Nothing But Love

    You might think that having to pretend to hate your coworker for a living would build up real animosity between the two of you, but there are surprisingly a lot of actor BFFs who disprove that theory.

    Here are 15 costar duos who are enemies on screen but besties in real life:

    1. Ron Weasley and Draco Malfoy never got along in the Harry Potter franchise, but Rupert Grint wore an "I Love Tom Felton" shirt to his costar's first post–Deathly Hallows movie premiere.

    2. Betty Cooper and her cousin, Cheryl Blossom, may be frenemies on Riverdale, but Lili Reinhart and Madelaine Petsch were roommates during the first season.

    3. In Black Panther, Killmonger and Nakia are on opposing sides, but Michael B. Jordan and Lupita Nyong’o are so close with each other that they've had to deny dating rumors.

    4. Sharpay Evans has it out for Gabriella Montez in the High School Musical trilogy, but Vanessa Hudgens was one of Ashley Tisdale's bridesmaids.

    5. Cersei and Tyrion Lannister have a contentious sibling relationship on Game of Thrones, but Lena Headey and Peter Dinklage have been friends since they costarred in Pete Smalls Is Dead.

    Dinklage even recommended Headey for the role of Cersei, and they lived together while filming.

    6. In The Social Network, Mark Zuckerberg and Eduardo Saverin have a huge falling out, but Jesse Eisenberg and Andrew Garfield grew so close during filming that they struggled to stay in character as rivals.

    7. Cassidy Roy and Aimee Finecky were romantic rivals in The Spectacular Now, but Brie Larson and Shailene Woodley "understood each other instantly" and became fast friends on set.

    During a joint interview with Vulture, Woodley said, "We’re the lighthouse for each other: the beam that stays focused and guides you home.” 

    8. On The Walking Dead, Daryl Dixon and Negan Smith are rivals, but Norman Reedus did a reading at Jeffrey Dean Morgan's wedding.

    9. Brothers Thor and Loki are often at each other's throats (both literally and figuratively) in the MCU, but Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston publicly declared their love for one another at a Thor: The Dark World press conference.

    10. On BBC's Sherlock, Moriarty and Sherlock are constantly trying to outwit each other, but Andrew Scott and Benedict Cumberbatch are "dear friend[s]."

    Cumberbatch told Radio Times, "Every time I see Andrew, I just want to see more of Andrew.”

    11. In the X-Men movies, Magneto and Professor X are friends-turned-enemies, but Sir Ian McKellen and Sir Patrick Stewart are such good friends that McKellen officiated Stewart's wedding.

    14. On The Flash, Barry Allen and Eobard Thawne are archenemies, but Grant Gustin and Tom Cavanagh are close friends who made a short film together, Tom and Grant.

    15. And finally, in the Twilight movies, Jane is out to get Bella, but Dakota Fanning describes her friendship with Kristen Stewart as "one of the most special bonds in my life."

    While introducing Stewart at Elle's 2016 Women in Hollywood Awards, Fanning said, "She has held my hair back and talked me through heartbreak. She has always been there for me when I have needed her most, and most of all, she has taught me the power of being 100% yourself 100% of the time."
