Zoboomafoo PBS –oliviavergarakurzZoboomafo featured the Kratt brothers and was a wildlife show geared towards preschoolers. It originally aired from 1999-2001. 3. Flash Forward Disney —misstiffThe Disney sitcom showed Tucker and Rebecca's everyday lives during eighth grade. It aired from 1995-1997. 4. Ghostwriter Tap to play GIF Tap to play GIF PBS That diverse cast was ahead of its time, TBH.—maramberThe show starred a group of friends from Brooklyn who solved neighborhood crimes and mysteries with the help of an invisible ghost named Ghostwriter. It was on air from 1992-1995. 5. Out of the Box Disney –sumnerkThis Playhouse Disney series took place in "The Box" – a playhouse made entirely of cardboard boxes. The hosts sang songs, did crafts, etc. It was on air from 1998-2004. 6. Wishbone Tap to play GIF Tap to play GIF PBS —erinradenFrom 1995-1997, Wishbone starred a dog who would flash into a famous work of literature. 7. Gargoyles Disney —jnuyThe show featured nocturnal creatures – gargoyles – that turned to stone during the day. It aired from 1994-1997. 8. Lamb Chop's Play-Along PBS —jennies4783ed5b8The singing puppet who sang, "This is the song that never ends," was on air from 1992-1995. 9. Bear in the Big Blue House Disney –BrianaThis show was about – you guessed it – a bear in a big blue house who went on adventures with his friends. The series lasted almost ten years from 1997-2006 on Disney. 10. Big Wolf on Campus Fox Family It was about a high school quarterback named Tommy that got bitten by a werewolf, so he asked the nerdy, weird guy in the school (Merton) for help, and they went on adventures fighting other monsters. It was so cheesy, but it was fun and Tommy was hot! —brittanyf4934504b7It was released between 1999-2002. 11. Pepper Ann Disney —erinradenThe animated series showed the typical middle school life of young kids. It was on air from 1997-2000. 13. Gullah Gullah Island Nickelodeon —leahh4bd78c014Inspired by the Gullah culture, this musical show featured a magical island and was on air from 1994-1998. 14. Figure It Out Nickelodeon —margonicoleFrom 1997-1999, Susan Summers hosted this popular Nickelodeon children's game show. 15. This series followed the girls' life as pop singers. 16. What Would You Do? Nickelodeon The Marc Summers jam that WASN’T Double Dare.–amyk43e11f28dFrom 1991-1993, this Nickelodeon show had the audience view a previously taped segment featuring children or families or others put in unusual situations. 17. Hey Dude Nickelodeon —mightymorphinmjThis was a western comedy from 1989-1991, set on "Bar None Dude Ranch," and it showed the lives of the ranch owner, his family, and summer employees. 18. Roundhouse Nickelodeon It was part of SNICK. I still remember the theme song.—rachelbethhThe show was taped in front of a live audience and was broken up into sketches, dance sequences, and musical performances from 1992-1996. 19. So Weird Disney One of my favorite shows growing up that fostered my love for all things paranormal. The Torkelson's / Almost Home Disney —greenveepThe series – named The Torkelsons in season one and renamed Almost Home for season two — aired between 1991-1993 and featured a single mother of five kids. 21. Space Cases Nickelodeon —lalagondolaSpace Cases was a Canadian science fiction television series that aired on Nickelodeon for two seasons, starting in 1996. 22. Freakazoid WB —maramberThis WB series aired from 1995-1997 and starred a superhero with useless information. 26. Big Comfy Couch Owl Television —brianav4d59ba8fdThis comical series featured a clown and her dolly, Molly, who solved problems every day on their "comfy couch." It aired from 1992-2006. 27. Are You Afraid of the Dark? Tap to play GIF Tap to play GIF Nickelodeon —cosmiccaffeine7For ten years, starting in 1990, this series starred young kids telling ghost stories. 28. Clarissa Explains It All CBS –Kayla Goff, FacebookMelissa Joan Hart played an American teenager in this series from 1991 to 1994. 34. The Secret World of Alex Mac Nickelodeon —marzaallyThis series replaced Clarissa Explains It All on Nickelodeon from 1994 to 1998. Alex had strange powers after getting hit by a chemical truck. 35. Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego? PBS Every time I mention this to people no one seems to know what the show was about, I’m starting to think it was all a dream.—ellie5700Based on the Carmen Sandiego computer game, this children's series aired from 1991 to 1995. 36. Kids Incorporated Disney It was on in the 80s. A bunch of kids performed in a band and also dealt with "after-school special" scenarios. Fergie and Jennifer Love Hewitt were part of the cast! The theme song was catchy as hell...K! I! D! S! —mommyzombieThis series may have started in the '80s, but it lasted until 1994! 37.
