I'm spooked.

Really strange coincidences happen every day. We know this.

However, some of the coincidences we come across are just mind-blowing. Like, how The Simpsons has been able to somehow predict the future.

Or how the 2011 movie Contagion so closely aligns with the current coronavirus pandemic.

There are other eerie coincidences, like in Edgar Allan Poe's 1838 novel, The Narrative of Arthur Gordon Pym of Nantucket, in which a man named Richard Parker gets eaten by survivors after a shipwreck. Then, in 1884, a man named — you guessed it — Richard Parker was eaten by survivors of a shipwreck.

Another example is a nurse named Violet Jessop, who survived all three disasters on the sister ships Titanic, Britannic, and Olympic.
