Kaylin Bennett is an Arizona-based woman who pulled the prank of a lifetime on her roommate, Kiersten.
And when I say "the prank of a lifetime," I AM NOT JOKING because she turned her roommate's bedroom upside down:
BuzzFeed spoke to Kaylin, who said she thought of the idea about a year ago. "I'm pretty creative and LOVE doing pranks, so I thought it would be hilarious to hang everything upside down from the ceiling. I knew it would be EPIC, but never thought it would be possible," she said. However, she recently figured out a way to make it possible by screwing everything into the ceiling:
Kaylin said it took her about seven to eight hours. "I screwed the dresser and the bed frame to the wall studs and pushed it up against the ceiling, giving the appearance that it was hanging from the ceiling. I didn't put the mattress up there, I just used the comforter to make it look like the mattress was there," she explained.
She also said that doing the fan and the lights were easy. (Although it does not sound easy to me!) "I just rewired it with an extension cord so that the light switch on the wall would still work when she went to turn on her light like normal," she said.
Kaylin said it took Kiersten a full five minutes to fully understand what was done to her room when she saw it. "She just kept repeating, 'How in the world did you do this?!'"
Kaylin helped Kiersten turn her room right side up the next day. "I helped her take down the big stuff, like her bed, dresser, and we put the ceiling fan back to its normal position. In total, it probably only took her about two to three hours back to normal," she said.
