Pregnancy In TV And Movies Is So Fake, We Need To Shed Some Light On It

    We're calling BS.

Literally, the only symptom women get when they are pregnant in movies is "morning sickness."

Like, heaven forbid they experience swelling.

    Or a breakout.

Showing a constipated pregnant woman is against the rules.

It would be an absolute scandal if they gained weight anywhere besides their belly.

And a true tragedy if they didn't have a cute outfit with a full face of makeup every time they went out in public.

The belly must not, under any circumstances, have stretch marks!

I know, I get that it's only fiction. I do. But, maybe we shouldn't make women feel like they have to live up to these expectations while carrying another human BECAUSE...

    ...swelling is really, really common.

    And so are breakouts!

What about pooping? It can be hard to do when you got a baby in there!

Did you know that it is HEALTHY to gain weight during pregnancy?

And it's also healthy to love yourself. If you are too tired to shower and put on makeup and change out of sweatpants before you go out, you still look amazing.

I'm just here to celebrate the women who have been through pregnancy IRL – along with all the body changes.
