This Tennessee Photographer Tricked People Into Thinking She Took Engagement Photos In Italy, When It Was Really An Olive Garden

"When you want Italy vibes for your engagement session but live In Tennessee..."

Ah, Olive Garden. The place of never-ending breadsticks and salad...now, it may also be a place for great photo ops.

Carlsey Bibb and Caden Mills are getting married this October, so they recently had an Italy-themed engagement photo shoot at the popular chain restaurant.

If I didn't know these were taken at Olive Garden, I would have assumed the couple had these taken at a winery!

BuzzFeed spoke to Carlsey, who said she and Caden really wanted to do something different from what everyone else in their Tennessee town does for their engagement pics. "I asked Shea — our photographer and longtime friend — if there was anywhere she had been wanting to shoot but hadn’t yet. That’s when she mentioned Olive Garden!"

Although Carlsey said she was a little hesitant at first, she fully trusted Shea to make her vision come together.

Shea Cravens owns Hunter Lashea Photography and has been a professional photographer for five years.

She posted a peek at the photoshoot on her Instagram Reels and TikTok:

It was apparent that people (and fellow photogs) LOVED the idea:

Several commenters saying they love the idea and really couldn't tell the photos were taken at Olive Garden

Shea told BuzzFeed that her idea for the Olive Garden shoot came to her after eating lunch there one day with her family. "I looked over at the building and said to my mom, 'This would be a cool spot to take some photos.'"

Shea admitted that she was a bit nervous about how the photos would turn out, but once she started shooting, she knew it was exactly what she envisioned! "When we started planning to do Carlsey and Caden's engagement photos, Carlsey had full trust in my idea, and I’m so grateful."

In an effort to not disrupt people wanting to eat, the shoot was done at sunrise, around 6 a.m. before the restaurant even opened. "I’ve never shot photos at any other restaurant, but I've done a photo shoot outside of Big Lots because it was a really neat area that caught my eyes to take photos at!"

And Carlsey and Caden loved how they turned out! "They were way better than we could’ve ever imagined," Carlsey said.
